Oliver’s log house, perhaps 8′ x 11′. Built in 1972 from green logs that had not dried because he needed the house before he had time to allow the logs to dry over a season. In front of the house are a few tripods with firewood stacked in front to stay dry until needed. There is grass growing from the sod on the roof of the house. The cotton in the foreground was common on the tundra there.
